2012 - 2014 // Diploma of Advanced Studies in Didactic UNIFR (University of Fribourg) HES-SO (University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland) in collaboration with the University of Bedfordshire, Luton, UK (Realization of the master thesis) Master Thesis (6 months - Erasmus): Gesture recognition with multiple Kinects Summary: Analysis, conception and realization of a multimedia system based on multiple Microsoft Kinects (depth camera) to reconstruct a 3D skeleton of users present in front of the camera, and recognition of gestures and postures. (See publication #1) 2007 - 2010 // Bachelor HES of Science in Computer Science EIA-FR (College of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg, Switzerland) Bachelor work (3 months): Head computer interface Summary: Analysis, conception and realization of a multimodal system able to move the user in a virtual city (based on the EPOC headset of EMOTIV). This headset is equipped with an EEG (Electroencephalography) sensor and a gyroscope. Based on these captors, the project offers to the user to move into Google Street View thanks to his thoughts and head movements. Final work (4 weeks): Installation and configuration of iPrint and CIFS Summary: implementation of a structure based on Novel Netware 6.5 to offer the possibility to the users of windows stations to print and access to the remote storage without the Novell client. |
